She was predeceased by: her parents, Genio Walsh and Johnsie Vickers Walsh; her husband Carl C. Faw; her siblings, Doyle Walsh, Charles Walsh and Elaine Walsh Meade; and her grandson Curtis Andrew "Drew" Faw, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Carla Squires (Danny), Shannon Pilkington (Johnny) and Curtis "Dusty" Faw; and her grandchildren, Dustin Faw (Kesley), Joshua Faw (Madison), Johnsie Pilkington and Isaac Pilkington. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
