We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2022, at the age of 87, Ida Viola Hicks Lael of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hicks of Washington and Phronia Presnell Hicks; and her husband Roy Thomas Lael. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Jo Lael of North Wilkesboro; her sister Betty Jo Lael of Virginia; and her close friends, Rita, Ray Zink of North Wilkesboro, Jeremy and Elizabeth Bullard of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
