He was predeceased by: his parents, Camie Allen and Erie Dobbins Harris; and his siblings, Patricia Harris, Ruby Harris, Susie Triplett and Wesley Harris.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sallie Harris of Reidsville and Camie Dean Harris of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
