He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren G. Adams and Fannie Saylor Adams; his brother Thomas Adams; and his grandson Robert Hardin Adams. He is survived by: his wife Betty Souther Adams; his sons, Jerry Adams and Larry Adams (Sandy) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Ashley Adams (Joshua Collins) of North Wilkesboro, Alisha Branson (Johnathan) of North Wilkesboro, Levi Adams of Gastonia, Ethan Adams of Gastonia and Jessica Faw of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchildren, Riley Collins of North Wilkesboro, Ronnie Collins of North Wilkesboro, Savannah Collins of North Wilkesboro and Eli Collins of North Wilkesboro; and his siblings, John Adams of Indiana, Virginia Adams of Alabama, Iva Lucas (Glenn) of Alabama and Daisy Tuggle (James) of Georgia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
