She was predeceased by: her parents, Worth Carlton and Mary Ella Barnes Carlton; her husband Worth Ferguson; her daughter Mary Ferguson; and her siblings, Clara Tugman, Sadie Carlton, Mary Alice Ferguson, Maggie Sue Barnes, Allen Carlton, Daniel Carlton, Charles Edward Carlton and Richard Carlton.
She is survived by: her children, Marcella Howell of Boomer, Michael Ferguson of Wilkesboro, Freida Ferguson of North Wilkesboro, Elaine Ferguson, Fred Ferguson of North Wilkesboro, Deborah Reid and Bobbie Perkins of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Carol Howell of Boomer, NC, Lavonda Howell of Boomer, NC, Mikey Ferguson of Wilkesboro, NC, Tony Harris of Charlotte, NC, Jason Taylor of Greensboro, NC, Alphonzo, Anthony Leach, Tamyra Howell of Taylorsville, NC, Annika, Kylie Perkins of Wilkesboro, NC, Carlos and Tyizza McKeithan; her brothers, Doug Carlton of Boomer, Namon Carllton of Shelby and Harrison Carlton of Winston-Salem; and also, Kebreanna Fox, Ta'Kyra Felder, Elijah Leach, Xavian Leach, Adaira Leach, Ezekiel Leach, Kaleb Eller, Karizma Harris, Isaiah Taylor and Sidney Harris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
