In loving memory of George Sheets of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who departed this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 83. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Sheets and Marie Huffman Sheets; and his siblings, Billy Jean Sheets, James Franklin Sheets and Rachel Sheets Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mike Sheets and Pamela Sheets Brown (Kevin); his sisters, Joann Sheets Owens (Don) and Wanda Sheets Byers (Danny); his grandchildren, Chris Sheets, Ashley Sheets, Katy Isaacs (Josh), Kandace Mayberry (Clark), Andrew Brown and Clara Brown; his great grandchildren, Trevaun Hague, Devin Hague, Charlotte Isaacs, Evelyn Isaacs, Amelia Isaacs, Jonathan Isaacs, Cam Mayberry and Georgia Mayberry; and his great great grandchild Alora Hague.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
