She was predeceased by: her parents, Smith Johnson and Stella Johnson; her husband Dewey Raymond Rhoades; her siblings, Harrison (Betty), John (Lucille), George (Juanita), Emily McHargue (Jack), Rebecca Dickens (Clarence), Dora Martin (William), Hester Warren (Paul), Mable Holleman (John), Fannie Roope (Don), Ruth McHargue (Donald) and Carolyn Sheets; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Rhoades, Robert Rhoades and Linda Rhoades.
She is survived by: her siblings, Annie Johnson of North Wilkesboro and Charlie Johnson (Sharon) of Tennessee; her nephew Tommy Johnson (Dotty) of North Wilkesboro; her great-nephew Valentin Ramirez (Nelly) of North Wilkesboro; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Shepherd, Paula Rhoades of North Wilkesboro, Lynn Rhoades of Hickory, Carl Sheets and Roby Rhoades of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
