With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaynette Walsh Ashley of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Allen and Bertha Catherine Church Walsh; her husband James "Red" Ashley; and her sisters, Chessie Taylor and Clara Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Ashley Vickers (Ricky) of Germanton, NC, James "Mark" Ashley of Millers Creek, NC and Karen Ashley Lunsford of North Wilkesboro, NC; her grandchildren, Derrick Vickers (Jennifer), Catherine Vickers, Joshua and Jakob Lunsford; her great grandchildren, Jack and Charlotte Vickers; and her sister Crystal Ann Walsh Martin (Fred) of Springfield, VA..
