He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ray Colbert and Blanche Durham Colbert; and his brother Bruce Colbert. He is survived by: his son Cory Garrett Colbert; his fiancée Samantha Hamby; his siblings, Cindy Colbert of Elkin and Bobby Colbert (Kathy) of Traphill; and his nieces and nephews, Jenna Lyons, Gracie Colbert, Traeson Colbert, Kathy Jo McGee and Matthew Colbert.
