It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Gay (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Curtis and Grace Viola Parsons Curtis; her former husband Ed Brendle; her husband Lathian W. Gay; her siblings, Grace Vaught (Joe), Junior Curtis, Edwin Curtis and George Curtis; and her brother-in-law Fred Ferguson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Ferguson of Millers Creek, Basil Walker (Gail) and Bobby Walker (JoAnn) of Wilkesboro; her sisters-in-law, Maxie Curtis of Millers Creek and Lou Curtis of Elkton, FL; and her stepson David Brendle (Frances) of Greensboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
