She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowan Shepherd and Lillian Call Shepherd; her husband Rufus Blevins; her son Randy Blevins; and her brothers, Olin Shepherd of Winston Salem, Russel Shepherd of Wilkesboro and Floyd Shepherd of North Wilkesboro.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ruby Nance (Buck) of Wilkesboro and Blain Shepherd (Judy) of Concord. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
