It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Sue Vannoy Blackburn (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Victoria Hester Haynes Vannoy; her husband Eli Jerry Claude Blackburn; her sons, David and Michael Allen McGlamery; and her brothers, Harold Dean and James Thomas Vannoy.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy McGlamery (Belva) of Wilkesboro, Gary McGlamery (Wendy) of North Wilkesboro and Kevin Blackburn (Gail) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Matthew McGlamery, Phillip McGlamery, Jerry Taylor, Kristie Winkler, Jason Winkler, Aaron Blackburn, Bethanie Blackburn, Kristen McGlamery and Katie McGlamery; her great grandchildren, Arian Winkler, Christian Winkler, Tyler Wheeling, Lydia McGlamery, Maverick McGlamery, Amelia McGlamery and Elijah Blackburn; and her brother Willie Vannoy of North Wilkesboro.
