She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardin Monroe Pierce and Rosalee Porter Pierce; her husband James Robert Teague; her son Mark Allen Teague; and her siblings, Edward "Earl" Pierce and Brenda "Gayle" Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Megan Elizabeth Teague of North Wilkesboro, Gerald Dwayne "Peanut" Teague of North Wilkesboro, Phillip Daniel "Danny" Teague of North Wilkesboro and Nolan Dwayne Teague (Katelyn Rector) of North Wilkesboro; and her sisters, Debbie Pierce of North Wilkesboro and Denise Pierce of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
