He is survived by: his wife Judith Porter of North Wilkesboro; his son Brian Porter (Wendy) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Michelle Porter, Troy Porter, Chris Porter and Lindsey Porter; his great grandchild Mya; and his sisters, Shirley Whitley (Johnny) of North Wilkesboro and Carol.
