She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clay and Blanche Kyle Jennings; her husband Bill Shepherd; and her son Billy Gene Shepherd, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Jane Ferguson of North Wilkesboro and Lonnie C. Shepherd of North Wilkesboro; her granddaughters, Michelle Wagoner (Harold) of North Wilkesboro and Jessica Pardue (Michael) of Thurmond; her great grandchildren, Bethany Pruitt (Bradley) of Hays, Jonathan Wagoner of North Wilkesboro, Jonah Wagoner of North Wilkesboro, Laken Pardue of Hays and Carter Pardue of Thurmond; and her great great grandchildren, Jackson Pruitt and Janie Pruitt.
