He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Annie Mae Griffin Wyatt; his wife Martha Irene Walker Wyatt; and his siblings, Alonzo Wyatt, Rex Wyatt, Charlie Wyatt, Everette Wyatt, Lewis Wyatt, Wayne Wyatt, Louise Wyatt and Faye Parsons.
He is survived by: his close friend Betty Reeves; his son Ricky Wyatt (Mandy) of McGrady; his grandchildren, Evan Handy (Victoria) of Wilkesboro and Lauren Mitchell (Ethan) of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Mitchell of North Wilkesboro, Henry Mitchell of North Wilkesboro and Kilby Quinn Handy of Wilkesboro; his siblings, James Wyatt of Boone, Kenneth Wyatt (Barbara) of Millers Creek, Jerry Wyatt (Donna) of Millers Creek, Lucille Huffman of Utah, Shirley Wyatt (W. D.) of Wilkesboro, Elaine Williams (Bueford) of Ronda, Nancy Roten (Ronnie) of Millers Creek and Claudia Parks (Perry) of North Wilkesboro; and also Libby Willard (David) of North Wilkesboro.
