He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Noah and Florence Brown Johnson; his siblings, L. E. Johnson and Janet Dillard; and his siblings-in-law, David Joines and Brenda Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Lankford Johnson; his daughters, Lisa West (Nat) of North Wilkesboro and Candice Moore (Hassan) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Sara West Brewer (Adam), Natalie West Marley (Andrew), Chris West, Ethan West, Justin West and Midna West; his great grandchildren, Michael Brewer, Will Marley, Jackson Coleman, Sophia Brewer and Justice Marley; his siblings, Linda Joines of Wilkesboro, Robert Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Jerry Johnson (Joyce) of North Wilkesboro and Bill Johnson (Becky) of North Wilkesboro; and his brother-in-law Bill Dillard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
