It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lorance Strickland of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorance Strickland and Virginia Robinson Strickland; his brothers, Ricky Lynn Strickland, Wayne Strickland and Stephen Strickland; and his sister-in-law Diane Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Maxwell Strickland; his daughters, Brandy Alfonso (Stelios) of Sweetwater, Stacey Strickland of Morganton, Rochella Glenn (Mike) of North Wilkesboro, Bridget Edsel (Derek) of Gastonia and Robin Collins (Charles) of Winston Salem; and his grandchildren, Andrea Alfonso, Alyssa Alfonso, Josalyn Alfonso, Madalyn Kidd, Austin Lovette III, Alexis Lovette, Izzy Edsel, Ozzy Edsel, Benson Collins and Nalah Grace Collins.
