We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2020, at the age of 98, DeWitt Souther (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Lee Souther and Bertie Goldie Moore; his wife Gradie Hendren Souther; his sons, Thomas Souther and Earl Souther; his son-in-law Wayne Minton; and his siblings, Freddy, Paris, Eugene, Narvie, Burrette Souther, Rachel Robinson and Lella Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Roland Souther (Donna) and Sheila Minton; his grandchildren, Tonya Smith (Gary), Teresa Foster (Michael), David Souther (Meleah), Bobby Minton, Ginger Souther Dixon (Chris), Winston Salem, Ian Foster, Jonathan Smith, Zachary Smith, Ava Souther, Grant Souther and Charlotte Dixon; his sisters, Stella Marshall of Winston Salem and Julia Steelman of Wilkesboro; and his daughter-in-law Diane Souther of Wilkesboro.
