She was predeceased by: her parents, DeLoss Holbrook and Ima Walker Holbrook. She is survived by: her children, Holly Porter of Traphill, Becky Stancill (Bill) of Raleigh and Frank Porter (Rika) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jordan Edwards (Korinna), Katharine Edwards, Alexandra Worrel (Reid) and Madison Dean (Jackson); and her great grandchild Alexis Edwards.
