She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James William Lomax, Sr. and Lucinda Long Lomax; her husband William "Billy" E. Coles, Sr. of North Wilkesboro; her children, Anitra "Angel" Coles-Taylor (Mervin) of Durham, William E. "B. J." Coles, Jr. (Shanna) of Concord and Lisa Rodriguez (Jose) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Christian Taylor of Durham, Cameron Coles of Concord, Caelan Coles of Concord, Quentin Rodriguez of North Wilkesboro and Gabrielle "Gabby" Rodriguez Hamlett (Malcolm) of Durham; her great grandchildren, Landon Hamlett of Durham and Marlei Hamlett of Durham; and her sister Micheline "Mich" Lomax-Coles (Kenneth) of Wilkesboro. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, dance family and friends.
