She is survived by: her siblings, Ella Mae Sparks (Linvel) of Traphill, Jeannie Woodie (Charles) of North Wilkesboro, Rita Shepherd (Michael) of North Wilkesboro, Jim McCarter of North Wilkesboro, Steve McCarter of North Wilkesboro and Richard McCarter of Taylorsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
