He was predeceased by: his parents, David Vestal, Sr. and Ida McKinley Maness Brown; his daughter Tammy Kay Harrold; and his siblings, Madge Wyatt, Marie Brown, Leonard Brown, Ralph Brown, Edgar Brown, Eugene Brown and Tony Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Brooks Brown; his daughter Betty Lou Outlaw (J. C.); his grandchildren, Anthony Genuardi, Joseph Harrold (Christine), Elizabeth Genuardi and Nikki Crislip (Cassie); his great grandchild London Harrold; his son-in-law Tommy Harrold; and his niece Wanda Dishmon. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law and friends.
