It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Johnson of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Alstrelia Johnson; and his siblings, Calvin Johnson, Billy Johnson and Charlotte Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Takieah Flax (Gregory) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Kazden Johnson, Kara Eller and Tre Flax; and his siblings, LaTonya Johnson (Mark), Kimberly Johnson of Wilkesboro, Drema Comer (Ray) of Clarksville, TN, Larry Barnes (Carol) of Roaring River, Norman Johnson (Jamie) of Wilkesboro, William Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Christopher Johnson (Shawn) of Mt. Airy and Aaron Johnson of Queens, NY. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
