He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Fred and Ethel Church Bare; and his wife Meurial Osborne Bare. He is survived by: his children, Angela Wilkinson of Millers Creek and Allen Bare North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Michelle Huffman, Michael Huffman, Austin Bare, Kayla Bare and Katie Bare; and his sister R. V. Kerley of Cooleemee, NC.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
