She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Edward and Maude Rowe Genery; her husband Reid Sturdivant; and her daughter-in-law Diane. She is survived by: her children, Edward Reid Sturdivant (Patricia Price Sturdivant), Cynthia Jane Sturdivant Joines (Max Joines) and James Robert Sturdivant; her grandchildren, Reid Sturdivant (Stephanie), Meredith Goodwin (Jason), Bryant Carson (Erin), Carter Sturdivant (Anna) and Luke Sturdivant; her great grandchildren, Carson Goodwin, Camden Goodwin and Quinn Carson; her stepgrandsons, Martin Joines and James Joines; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Allie, Amberlyn and Jerry Joines.
