He was predeceased by: his parents, Mont Mash and Clara Mash; his wife Joy Lee Mash; his siblings, Hobert, Gilbert, Edward, Wayne, Arvil, Clayton, James Mash and Audrey Huffman; and his close friend Pauline Davidson.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Mash (Nancy) of Irving, Texas and Robin Light (Randy) of Colleyville, Texas; his sisters, Nellie Parsons of Wilkesboro, Mildred Pharr of Fairplains and Loriane Crawford of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Bradley Mash, Christi Ringer, Jake Light and Cody Light; his great grandchildren, Cooper Mash, Ryder Mash and Lilly Ringer; and his great great grandchild Isaiah Ringer.
