He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Calvin and Lessie Mae Porter Rhoades. He is survived by: his wife Iva Dean Hendrix Rhoades; his children, Mark Rhoades (Melissa Fogarty) of Haddonfield, NJ. and Karen Shupe (David) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Maggie Shupe, Sophie Shupe of North Wilkesboro, Margo Rhoades and Tessa Rhoades of Haddonfield, NJ.; and his siblings, Shirley Huffman of Ferguson, Mary Jean Warren of North Wilkesboro, Mary Lou Wiles (Dexter) of Traphill and Calvin Rhoades (Pam) of North Wilkesboro.
Due to the Covid-19, funeral services will be private.
