He is survived by: his wife Martha Whiting; his children, Philip Whiting (Allison) of Lyndhurst Virginia, Stephen Whiting of North Wilkesboro and Tirzah Whiting of North Wilkesboro; his sister Tina Marie Iwanicki (Mike) of Lisbon Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Abigail Whiting of North Wilkesboro and Ephraim Whiting of Lyndhurst Virginia. He is also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews.
