We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2020, at the age of 77, Blake Lovette of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. O. Lovette and Ruth Bumgarner Lovette; and his siblings, Billy Wade Lovette, Rex Lovette, Fred Lovette, Gene Allen Lovette and Bonnie Rhodes Lovette.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Wooten Lovette of Millers Creek; his daughters, Sena Lovette-Crafton (Hal) of Conway, Angela Lovette Ware (David) of Winston Salem and Amy Lovette Lankford (Ted) of Cary; his grandchildren, Laura Brown Wetzel (Will), Catherine Brown Clark (Tyler), Blake Ware, Avery Ware, Julia Ruth Lankford and Gus Hall Lankford; his great grandchild John William Wetzel; his brother Pete Lovette (Wilma) of Wilkesboro; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Rhoades of Wilkesboro, Charles Richard Wooten (Jo Ann) of North Wilkesboro, Carol Lovette and Betsy Lovette.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of North Wilkesboro and was a strong supporter of Wilkes Community College, Rainbow Center of Wilkes, Health Foundation, Yadkin River Greenway, Old Wilkes Inc. and other local organizations.
