He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowe and Opal Arlee Simmons Minton; and his grandsons, Austin Minton and Matthew Miller. He is survived by: his wife Iris Geneva Lowe Minton; his children, Delores Miller (Billy Miller) of North Wilkesboro and Donnie Minton (Laura); his grandchildren, Billy Gray Miller, Jason Cody Miller and Amber Minton Cardwell; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Cardwell and Ezekiel Cardwell; and his siblings, Freida Hartley of Lenoir, James Minton (Belinda) of Conover and Ralph Minton of North Wilkesboro.
