He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ray and Helen Ann Church Elmore; his siblings, Edwin and Angela Lee Elmore; and his nephew Mike Elmore.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Coffey (Carl) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Cavan McGrady of Statesville, Cecelia Coffey of Statesville and Cohen Coffey of Statesville; and his siblings, Sheila Hart (Eddie) of North Wilkesboro, Ruby Wagoner (Mack) of Hays, Lisa Porter (John) of North Wilkesboro and Jimmy Elmore (Carrie) of Millers Creek.
