He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Harrison Miller and Gladys Blanche Smithey Miller; and his siblings, Jackie Miller and Gail Smithey. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smithey; his daughters, Melissa Smithey (Jason Carlton) of North Wilkesboro and Tracy Cothren (Luke) of Hays; his siblings, Junior Miller of North Wilkesboro, Joyce Bounds of North Wilkesboro and Joann Smithey (Gary) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Taitum Cothren, Mattie Cothren, Luke Cothren and Trent Cothren; and also, Megan Wagoner and Stephanie Church.
