He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Wheeler of Hays; his grandchild Nashun Wheeler (Susan Carpenter); and his siblings, Kathy Hicks, Pauline Wheeler, Maxine Wheeler, Evelyn Wheeler, Noah Wheeler, Jessie Wheeler, Jerry Wheeler, John Wheeler and Mitchell Wheeler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
