She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley and Myrtle Reeves Absher; her husband Tommy Gene McGuire; and her siblings, Viola Campbell, Claude Absher, Granvel Absher, Jackie Gainey, Martin Absher, Bernice Parsons, Rose Lee Church, Wayne Absher and Charles Absher.
She is survived by: her children, Bart McGuire (Joyce) of North Wilkesboro, Cheryl Masters (Mark) of Lexington, Alan McGuire (Cathy) of Purlear and Lora Souther (David) of North Wilkesboro; and her sisters, Claudean Burch of Chapel Hill, Brenda Williams of Wilkesboro, Sallie Key of Boomer and Ann Shepherd (Plato) of Hays. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
