It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Blackburn of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Richardson and Etta Roope Richardson; her husband Elmer Henry Blackburn; and her siblings, Ralph Richardson, Mary Nell Johnson, Thelma Johnson and Mae Blackburn.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruby Calhoun of Sparta and Ruth Billings of Hays. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
