She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Way Arrington and Ruby Inez Conner Arrington; her daughter Shelia Ann Wingler Shumate; and her sisters, Evelyn Clark and Jean Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Wingler (Jonathan) of Wilkesboro, Kristie Patterson (Jamie) of Wilkesboro and Danny Wingler (Patricia) of Lansing; and her siblings, Dorothy Henson (Allen) of Waynesville and Kenneth Arrington (Dianne) of Mooresville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
