She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whitford and Edith Hall Lowe; her son James Richard Absher; and her grandson Luke Chandler Absher. She is survived by: her husband Richard Paul Absher; her children, Edith Ann Absher (Larry Day), John Hall Absher (Billie) of Woodstock, GA and Alton Lowe Absher (Lisa) of North Wilkesboro; her grandsons, John Hall Absher Jr., Wilburn Anderson Absher, Edward Paul Swofford, Landon Lowe Absher and James Richard Absher, II; her cousin Brenda Lowe; and her close friends, Shirley Poore, Cheryl Ann Eldredge and Doug Buchanan. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
