He is survived by: his wife Mary Brooks; his children, Megan Baines of New Mexico, Sierra Mullins (Nina) of West Virginia, Amaya Brooks of Missouri and Devon Brooks (Monica) of North Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Johnathan, Victor, Yarelle and Ama.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
