She is survived by: her children, Ray Hayes of Norlina, Laurie Swope (Bob) of Charles City, VA and Paula Peters (Sam) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Matthew Swope (Brooke) of Charles City, VA, Jill Caridi (Tommy) of Franklinton, NC, William and Emily Peters of Richmond, VA; her great grandchild Caroline Swope; her sister Judy Rivers (Richard) of Warren Plains; and her brother-in-law Charlie Sammons of Wake Forest, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
