He is survived by: his wife Nora Alston Terry; his stepchildren, Reverend James Alston of Portsmouth, Anthony Greene of Chesapeake, Kenneth Green of Portsmouth, Shawn Greene of Norlina, Latonia Greene of Newport News and Stanley Greene of Durham; his siblings, Willie Edward Terry (Edna) of Henderson, Virgie Hargrove (Charlie) of Henderson, Irene Terry (James) of New York, Isabeth Bullock of Norlina and Brenda Mitchell of Kittrell; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Louise, Sonia, Cherry, Jennifer, Terrence, Justin, Shana, Tiffany, James, Destiny, Xoanna, Cassity and Alex. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
