He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Vaughan and Mabel Smith Edwards of Virginia; and his brother Nicky Vaughan. He is survived by: his son Brian Lassiter of Henderson; and his siblings, Cindy Trammell of Norlina, Tonya Bullock of Henderson, Victoria Willard of Spencer, VA, Stephanie Joyner of Henderson, Emily Vaughan of Oxford, Wendy Tanner of Easley, SC, Anthony Clark of Greenville, SC and Daniel Trammell of Henderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
