He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hinson and Barbara Ann Perkins Hinson; and his brothers, Dale and Robert Hinson. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Setzer Hinson; his children, Richard Hinson (Alicia) of Maiden, Margaret Elliott (Joey) of Maiden and April Hinson of Conover; and his stepsons, Daniel Cuthbertson, Jason Cuthbertson of Newton and Donny Setzer of Taylorsville. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
