It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Glen Armstrong of Newton, North Carolina, born in Jefferson, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wellington Armstrong and Evalyn Alice Kolb Armstrong; his siblings, Robert Armstrong and Elaine Romano; his parents-in-law, Paul James Russo, Sr. and Barbara A. Russo; and his pet Arod.

He is survived by: his wife Paula M. Russo Armstrong; his daughter Nicole Armstrong Simmons (Craig) of Banner Elk; and his siblings, George Armstrong (Sue) of Charlotte, Laura Haile of Fayetteville, NY and Elizabeth Poole (Rob) of Hilton Head, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658.
