It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Ray Parker of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Shirley K. Parker; his children, Kelly Parker of Tega Kay, SC and Janet Sharpe (Steve) of Denver; his grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Trevor Scott, Autumn Melton, Tyler Sharpe and Michael Sharpe; and his great grandchildren, Henley Scott, Sam Scott, Nora Scott, Ada Melton, Scottie Melton and Kennedy Sharpe.
