We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 73, Wanda Smith of Newton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Odell Covington and Roxie Louise Covington; her husband Thomas Alexander Smith; her granddaughter Lyndsey Smith; and her brother Ron Covington.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Alexander Smith II (LeAnne); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cohen and Parker; her daughter Jennifer Smith Wike (Casey); her grandsons, John and Jacob; and her sisters, Janice Swails (Jerry), Kathy Moore (Jeff), JoAnne Hopkins (Mike) and Carol Currie (William). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
