It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda Jean Sigmon (Newton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franks and Dorothy Edwards Franks; her husband Jerry Manson Sigmon; her son Jeffery Manson Sigmon; and her siblings, Wayne Franks, Robert Franks, Stephen Franks and Debbie Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Laws (John) of Newton and Kim Sigmon (Johnson) of Mount Holly; her grandchildren, Jessica Laws Stankes (Brian), Anthony Gulzar and Sehrish Johnson (Moses); her great grandchildren, Faith Sheraz, Kaiden Gulzar and Kamora Yancy-Gulzar; and her pet Bailey. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Old St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2035 Old Conover-Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
