It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Evans (Newton, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Evans, Sr.; her son Robert W. Evans, Jr.; and her siblings, Jim Thornhill and Marceil Hoyle. She is survived by: her son Brent A. Evans; her sisters, Jane Cobb (Hobby) and Claire Skinner (Tom); and her sister-in-law Betty Thornhill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
