She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth H. Horn and Virginia Leona Horn; and her husband L. Fred James. She is survived by: her children, Howard "Ty" Elrod (Sandra) of Hickory, Pamela Charles of Newton and Laurie Hoffman (Chris) of Lake Wylie, SC; her adoptive daughter Missy Walters (Tommy) of Lake City, FL; her grandchildren, Mandi Elrod, Madison Wilkinson, Katie Charles, Ryker Yoak, Ethan Woody and Zach Hoffman; and her sister Suzzanne King (Harry) of St. Augustine, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
