It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tony Leonard Taylor of Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Ovaleen Merrill Taylor; and his siblings, Bill, Jack, Steve, Ed Taylor, Ellen Parker, Sue McMahan and Net Muscat.

He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Taylor (Jennifer) and Brian Taylor; his stepdaughter Dana Doster; and his grandchildren, Beckett and Sutton Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VFW Post 9337, PO Box 1403, Gastonia, NC 28053.
